Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I was born in 1947 in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Raised with many trips to the Smithsonian Institute Museums and the many art Galleries in the area, I was instilled with a sense of wonder at the variety of styles and techniques. I started painting at the age of 10 years old when I won an oil paint set at a local art competition by drawing Abraham Lincoln. My first paintings were primarily gifts for family members, although a New York Skyline sold when I was 17. College years were spent studying architecture at Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. After leaving the University, I moved to Los Angeles, CA where I took a 45 year detour to work in the architectural field with retail projects in the United States,...
