The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
It was on May 1st in 2010 when a Ferris wheel was put up on the beach of Warnemuende. It's quite an odd location for it (they haven't put it up again) but it made a nice scenery. Especially in the evening when the lights created all sorts of nice patterns against the sky and illuminating the beach sand around it.
